Loadout Description

Automag

The Automag is a large calibre .44 semi-auto pistol. It was designed in the late sixties to provide high power to a semi-automatic pistol. Has an 8-round magazine.

Gameplay

This weapon is a semi-automatic pistol, similar to the default TT-33. It has a short 8 round magazine and you can shoot as fast as you can press Fire. The weapon has a very good accuracy and can hit distant targets as long as you aim well, but the accuracy penalty upon shooting will have you wait between shots. It packs a fair punch as it kills a Pigcop in only 3 hits.

It is effective against enemies in body armour but it will not work against heavy armour.

Compared to the default non-upgraded Tokarev, this weapon behaves similarly. It has the same accuracy, though with a bigger penalty and the same 8 round magazines. If you press Fire quickly, you can shoot slightly faster but with progressively terrible accuracy. Also it has the longest reloading time of the whole of Highwire's 2nd weapons, roughly 1,5 second. Lastly it is the weapon with the lowest ammo cap. But it is the most powerful one of them all. This weapon is thus good in order to dispose of semi-strong enemies with relative ease and also snipe them from afar if you have a good eye. But it will work poorly against bosses or groups of more than 3 enemies like Pigcops or Enforcers because of the need to reload often and longly.

You will gain 8 shots per pick-up and you can hold up to 150 in total.

There are no upgrades for the Auto Mag.
