City Under Siege is a mandatory story mission in Episode 2.
Mission Summary[]
Los Angeles is once again under attack by the Cycloids. A massive mothership hovers over the city. Defeat the alien bastards, infiltrate the mothership and find out why they are here again.
Gameplay[]
City Under Siege is a very open map. There are lots of enemies around, but you also have 3 AMC soldiers to assist you as well as various EDF soldiers around the map.

Shrunken down in the EAF building.
Your primary goal is to open an alien bunker door in the basement of a lobby across the EAF building. You must find 4 Rune keys to unlock it:
Yellow Key is located in the Alley Cat Lounge in the red dressing room.
Red Key is located in the forbidden book store. It requires a toolbox to open the front entrance. However, there is a back entrance too.
Blue Key is located in the Rockwell Bank in an office on the upper floor. Requires brown keycard located on the roof of the EDF temporary base building.
Green Key is on a shelf at the fiery room after resizing in the EAF building.

After opening the door and entering the teleporter, you will be transported to the mothership. You will lose all your equipment, but there will be some Cycloid-made temporary weapons you can equip, such as Liz-man Chainguns, Firelaser Guns and Mini-Shrinker. Fight more aliens and make your way through the ship to the boss - a Cycloid Emperor. However, he is fought in a weakened state thanks to the big honcho paying him a visit.
Upon defeating him, you'll need to escape the mothership via fighter ship before the whole place explodes.

Evidence / Lore[]
- EAF Password: When you are shrunken in the office, look for a piece of paper in the shredder (careful not to be minced by the paper shredder!). Use the password on the nearby computer to unlock a new side mission Repent in Argentina.

- A toolbox is located near a red car in the southeast part of the map.
- In the northwest corner of the map there is a temporary EDF base containing lots of helpful supplies including the brown keycard on the roof. However when you approach this area, the mothership will fire, and many more hostiles (including the Overlord) will appear on the streets.
- Inside the Rockwell Bank, there's a coded door. Use the PDU scanner to guide you.

- At the alien door that requires the four Rune Keys, Look behind the left pillar to find a switch, press it, and then go back up, one of the paintings in the room has opened to reveal an EDF Soldier Chibi.
Trivia[]
Homage to Duke Nukem: Alien Armageddon, another mod by Jblade and Sebabdukeboss20
- In the alleyway next to the Rockwell Bank there is a radio, which if you're playing as Highwire and have the Support Radio, can call in a Helicopter that drops off EDF soldiers as back up.
- If you play as Rusty, spirits appear and can be talked to.
- Upon entering the EAF building you get shrunken down. This is a homage to Duke Nukem Forever.
