These sentry drones were created by the Engineers. They are outfitted with the dual guns that can fire crystal shards rapidly (similar to the Engineer SMG). They also have a really devastating attack. If you see a red light on the Conservator, find cover quickly, for it's about to fire an energy beam like the Maephisto. These drones are really strong, and they even have an energy shield, so you might have a difficult time when dealing with these robots.
They can be encountered in Picbonear Reservoir and Wetlands of Rowgar.

What little we can piece together shows that this formidable foe is merely just a maintenance drone for the Engineers. Considering how deadly it is, we can only wonder just how dangerous an actual combat machine designed them would be.
