EXPL-Crossbow

Background

A powerful explosive crossbow; fires a bolt with high explosives attached. It deals a very large radius of damage so keep a safe distance from the point of impact. The bow is silent... but the explosion is not.

Location

Can be found in The Wharf in the spa room. Door to that room is locked, but you can get there by swimming underwater.

Trivia

• In Imagination World a similar crossbow was James' slot 9 weapon. In terms of gameplay, however, it performs more like a temporary crossbow.
• This weapon has gone through several redesigns. Originally, it behaved kind of like a faster-firing crossbow with the 20-bolt drum magazine. It could also fire silver bolts as well. Some time later, it was redesigned to be able to charge up each bolt and fire it with more power. Eventually, in the Anniversary edition, it became an explosive crossbow.
