A submachinegun with a very high rate of fire. Has a mag cap of 30 rounds as well as a laser sight.

ALT-FIRE: Toggle Suppressor

Overview

This gun is James' default slot 3 weapon. While this might be a submachinegun, it has incredible accuracy and relatively low recoil. As a result, it can be used similar to an assault rifle for close to medium range engagements. Although the damage per bullet is less than most assault rifles, MP7's relatively fast rate of fire makes up for it to a certain degree. It is also the most accurate of James's SMGs along with the PP-19E, and its recoil is incredibly controllable, especially when compared to the UMP45. However, due to its inability to effectively damage heavy armoured, chitin or supernatural opponents, it is best used against body-armored or unarmored foes. Try to aim at the head for maximum efficiency.

Upgrades

There are two upgrades for the MP7.

MP7 extended magazine

Extends the MP7's magazine to 50 rounds. Costs 200 polymers.

MP7 suppressor

Adds sound suppressor to the MP7, which can be toggled using alt-fire. The suppressor does not impact performance, other than reducing its noise production (though it can be useful in missions like Xuglop Assault). Costs 100 polymers.

Trivia

• This gun replaced Steyr TMP/MP9 from the previous versions of the game.
