Jane Ashford is an elite agent of the EDF, and has fought alongside James in many missions. She wears a high-tech armoured combat suit which boosts her already respectable combat skills to superhuman levels. Born in England, Jane joined the EDF a few years after James did and rose through the ranks at a rate that surpassed him and many others. She is seen as one of the EDF's most valued agents.

James can use the telephone at the AMC base to talk to Jane about recent events in the story.

Trivia

Loading screen when using Jane

• She is one of the AMC Squad secret characters, along with the Cultist, Bombshell and Maarten Van Oostrum. She is playable in the Caligula Station mission. Beating this level will unlock Jane as a selectable character. She also becomes unlocked by default at the end of episode 4, if not unlocked already.
• If you look around James' room in AMC base, you can see photos of them together, implying they're in a relationship.
• Her combat suit is a homage to Bubblegum Crisis.
• Before version 3.5, James asked Sebabdukeboss20 to update Jane's sprites. This was his first direct art request which captured the interest of Sebab and eventually led him to joining the AMC team and updating nearly all the art.
