Jedrik

An old warrior, a ruthless warlord and a hero of the realms of Titan. Jedrik Demonhorn was summoned to Titan, alongside with another hero by the wizard Axon to defeat a demon tyrant known as Archonitron and his hordes. They both took down Archonitron, and Jedrik was crowned as Prince-Regent Jedrik, master of Titan.

While the rest of the AMC Squad were facing Naaldir and its forces at its Keep, Merlijn went to find and face his brother Maarten to lure out his "sire", who turns out to be Jedrik. He appeared once Merlijn knocked out Maarten.

Jedrik revealed that he is, in fact, their father. He claims that he tried to fight Naaldir in the past, but was unable to fell the Necromancer and perished in battle, and then was raised from the dead and forced to serve him. Jedrik also explains to Merlijn that Naaldir needs a living member of his bloodline to open the gateway to the Ringworld sacrificial system. Being that Jedrik had perished, and Maarten was brought back to life as a ghoul by Jedrik's magical sword of corruption when on the cusp of death, none of their blood would do. So the Necromancer lured Merlijn (and the AMC Squad) to Elysion to finally open the system.

Jedrik, being able to fight off the Naaldir's influence for a moment, apologised and offered Merlijn to bow down and put himself under the sword of corruption to deprive the Necromancer of pure blood of the heir of a ruler of Titan once more. Merlijn refused, and assured that his team will successfully defeat Naaldir for good. So the two fought each other. It was a tough fight, but eventually Merlijn emerges victorious against Jedrik.

Bestiary Information

The Oostrum brothers' paternal father; once was a hero of Titan, a distant realm, he was slain by Naaldir and resurrected. He possessed enough will power to retain his intelligence... and most of his soul.

Jedrik appears, and is playable in Duke Nukem 3D total conversion WGRealms Demon Throne.
