Background[]
Lilith is a young witch that was at some point hired by the cult to summon the Entity.
During the Providence mission, while James explored what appeared to be an old forgotten mining shaft, Sang arrived at the clock tower and used his powers to remove Blood Sigils to gain access to closed part of the Cathedral. Disturbing Lilith in her private quarters, he was captured and taken away to a prison. When he woke up in the cell, he was greeted by the witch. She revealed that she spared his life as Sang is the only known warlock who managed to fight the dark grip that becoming a warlock requires and break free from his curse. Hoping that he may reveal how to perform such a feat, she hid him away from the other cultists and brought him to this prison. Unfortunately, Sang himself did not remember how his transformation occurred, only that it created a duplicate of his own self that fled to Egypt, as well as a bat that is now endlessly flying around his head. Disappointed, she left him inside the prison.
Not soon afterwards, Sang manages to escape the prison, at which point he could (or could not) find and read Lilith's diary in her quarters, in which she lays out, among other things, that the cultists plan to use her magical abilities and the bodies of the residents of the town and the passengers of the crashed plane to bring back a monstrous Entity that was sealed in the massive tomb below the mines. Soon, Sang caught up with James, and they discussed the situation at hand. Depending on whether Sang has read Lilith's diary, he will try to convince James to spare her life and instead take her into custody.
Depending on the player's choices in the final battle, Lilith will either die with the Entity or be saved. If she lives, James will carry her back out of the mines, and into the van. Once cultists chasing them are taken out, Lilith notes that the summoning of the creature must have drained dark magic from her, leaving her as the second person alive who managed to escape the dark grasp of becoming a witch/warlock. She also reveals that while being possessed by the demonic entity, she was able to perceive mysterious strong forces trying to penetrate this dimension.
Eventually, Lilith was taken into custody by the EDF.
Bestiary Information[]
A witch for hire; the concept seems almost alien to us, but apparantly it is a thing that happens in the more esoteric circles.
Research[]
if Magic Weaponry researched, Lilith can be released with the help of Eva Lockwood. From there, Lilith will appear in the Paranormal Research Room in the Base, where with her ability, agents can use Abyssal weapons out on missions. Weapons include Blood Staff, Skull-Duster, Flesh-Squirter, and the Stygian warcannon.
Research Description[]
With Eva's help, we can convince the EDF to release Lilith into Eva's custody; her paranormal knowledge will allow us to use abyss weapons.
