Loadout Description

A custom-crafted .45 Auto Longslide pistol, originally owned by the captain of the ill-fated EAF Airship, captain Miller.

ALT-FIRE: Toggle laser sight

Gameplay

This is a .45 calibre pistol. You can fire it as fast as the default Auto 9 pistol. It is more powerful but has smaller magazines, is less accurate and it becomes even less accurate if you if you hold Fire. With Alt-Fire, you will use a laser sight which increases the weapon's accuracy, very good for distant enemies. You will also fire semi-auto in this mode, which provides better stability.

This pistol can't pierce any defence except chitin, so you will have to rely on head shots against enemies with body armour. As the description suggests, it can use .45 Silver ammo, making it effective against supernatural enemies, or .45 Incendiary ammo, making it effective against any organic targets, especially chitin ones.

You will gain 14 shots per pick-up and you can hold up to 150 in total.

Location

You will find this weapon in Episode 2 in the Ghost Ship mission. It is located in the captain's quarters near his body and diary. You can open this room by activating an eye switch in the hellish looking room nearby. The weapon will be replaced by a gold amulet in subsequent playthroughs.

Upgrades

There are no upgrades for the Longslide pistol, but the laser sight color can be customized in the loadout menu.
