This is Mikko Sandt's MSC-12 shotgun, which replaces his usual MS-Corp Shotgun.

MSC12
A shotgun with dual tubes that can be loaded separately with different shotgun shell types. Toggle with alt-fire.

Gameplay[]
This weapon is a pump action shotgun, which boasts 2 tubes which you can load independently. It behaves exactly the same as James' KSG-12 shotgun. You can load 7+1 shells in a tube. You can thus have a grand total of 16 shells loaded at once. It has a slightly superior rate of fire to that of Mikko's default shotgun. It also has superior accuracy. Amongst all of Mikko's shotguns, this one is the most accurate and it is the most capable at long range (if you crouch).
Pressing alt-fire will have you select which tube you want to load and shoot with. The small display indicates which one is currently selected. Green is Tube 1 (left), Blue is Tube 2 (right). As stated in the description, you can load different types of shells in both tube. For instance you can load flechette shells in the second tube in order to have them ready with a simple use of alt-fire, instead of having to change and reload like with other shotguns, which makes this gun extremely versatile. Other example, you can load both tubes with standard shells in order to hold up against a large crowd of enemies with 14 or 16 shells instead of 10 with the other shotguns.
Compared to Mikko's other shotguns, you sacrifice the double shot of the MS-Corp Shotgun, or the rate of fire and swift reload of the Assault Shotgun in favor of more accuracy and more practical usage of alternate shells.
You will gain 10 shots per pick-up and you can hold up to 100 in total.
Location[]
This weapon can be found in the Chaosphere mission of the Episode 3. Make your way to the snowy castle. Inside, you will find MSC-12 in a briefcase inside one of the corner rooms of the upper floor. Like all weapons found in briefcases, it will be replaced with the health amulet in subsequent playthroughs.

There are no upgrades for the MSC-12.
