Maddrax

A short-tempered but very dangerous and tough boss from Xuglop Assault level. Leader of the mercenary group that set up a base on the Xuglop. Armed with the minigun. He wears a baby blue ultramarine cape that counts as body armour.

• When he shoots you with his minigun, take cover behind the convenient metal plates. When these plates break, use the Forcefield belt item.
• When you damage him enough, he will throw away his cape and begin charging at you. Try not to stand in his way cause his melee attacks are very damaging. It is advised to dodge and shoot him with your highest-DPS weapon.

Bestiary Information

A background search reveals that Madrax was the leader of a squadron of World Government soldiers; it is highly likely that James merely passed by this man on one of his earlier adventures, and Madrax had carried a grudge ever since. For his part, James still doesn't ever recall having met or even interacted with this strange man.
