Palace of Rowgar is the 7th mandatory story mission of Episode 4. It is unlocked after completing all 6 mandatory missions.
Mission Summary[]
The team must head to the palace and find their way to Axon.
Gameplay[]
Stormwall[]
Just follow the path. Eventually you'll find a pyramid, guarded by no other than Maarten, Merlijn's brother. Defeat him, and he'll teleport away. Enter the pyramid to reach the palace.
Palace of Rowgar[]
From the start, go right, and then up the stairs into a huge room with water in the middle. In this room, go up the stairs to the right, and head into the first door to the right to enter the library. Go to the part of the library that has a chimney. Proceed through the door there, and head down the stairs. Then go up the stairs to the roof of the palace. When on the roof, take out all the adversaries including several Selkises, then look for three switches. Once all three are pressed, the lightning strike will blow up the wall. Enter it, go down the stairs, and get the blood key. Go left, down the stairs. Go back into the big room, and use the blood key upstairs. Enter the courtroom, eliminate the Reptiloids and grab the silver key. Return to the starting area and use the silver key to open the door that leads to the next level.
Acsension[]
Head down the stairs. Once you enter a hallway with gratings, go right. Cross the bridge. Upon reaching a destroyed bridge, make your way down to the very bottom of the cavern (but don't just fall all the way down, since it's a long way down, and might result in death even with ninja roll). Once at the bottom, fight your way through the Archers, Beholders and other enemies across the purple river. Then start climbing up. Then enter a hallway and take the elevator up. Dispose of Beholders and insert the sword to the pedestal. Now make your way back to the bottom, and ride the lift back up. Then enter the big elevator in the middle and hit the switch. It will start going up. However, after a while it will suddenly stop. One of the windows will get blown up by Maarten, who is riding a black dragon this time. The dragon is sapping the energy from the lift, and as such, it can end up healing him. If you'll end up pausing, the dragon will get healed up. There's no way to prevent him from healing, so jump outside, climb the ladder to the roof and start to shoot them with the mounted void bolt thrower. Once you taken out the dragon, the lift will continue going up, taking you to Anchora.

There are a total of 4 secrets in this mission.
Palace of Rowgar[]
- In the outside area, where the EDF loader is (which can be entered from the library), there is a sewer pipe. Dive into it and surface to a room with a wooden shield, purple mana, and a Vorpal Sword.
- In the library, there is a switch at one of the entrances, near the table and the chair. Flip the switch and the wall will turn around. On the other side you'll find slot 3 weapon, slot 6 grenades, and a gold amulet. Use the switch to exit the secret.
- In the room with the pool, there is a large mosaic on the wall. The eye of the mosaic is a switch. Shoot it, and it will open a steam room much later, which contains a Maarten Chibi.
- When on the roof, there is a short tower. You can climb it from behind. Do so to get Super armour.
Evidence/Lore[]
The scroll about the stopped ritual: lying on the desk between the bookshelves in the small room to the left from the first stairs in the Ascension.
Other Items of interest[]
There is a room sealed with the Blood Sigil that Sang can remove. The room contains a Magic Upgrade Orb and a Megasphere.
When first entering the library in the Palace, go to the door to the right. Then climb down the ladder to find an EDF loader and a VR station. The loader is locked, but Mikko or Geoffrey can unlock it. When unlocked, the loader contains a gold amulet, a magic upgrade orb, and a slot 0 weapon.
