Background[]
The Plasma Commander, also known as Advanced Commander, is a powerful variant of the Assault Commander. Aside from having more health, they also fire green plasma projectiles from their rectum instead of rockets. These projectiles are immensely powerful, and can do more damage than the rockets, but thankfully have a smaller blast radius. The green plasma is similar to that fired by the Plasma Launcher.
They also have a Mini-Shrinker attached to their right arms, which can fire a shrinker blast at you. Sometimes they they try to shrink you with it after they're finish firing their plasma burst.
Using the MIA Gun on this commander variant unlocks the Cycloid Plasma Tech research project.
Bestiary Information[]
These oversee the Cycloid ground forces; as with most of their army, we cannot really tell what their original species was. Underneath they carry a small RPG, and mounted to their arm is a shrinkray. The latter makes these a significantly more dangerous threat, as their mobile hover unit doesn't really offer that much actual mobility.
MIA Description[]
We've discovered that the Commander is permanently attached to the hover unit, and that it serves as a life support as well as weapons unit. Quality of life was clearly a secondary concern.
