This is Micky Crisp's default Slot 3 weapon, the Pulsegun.
Loadout Description[]
The Pulsegun fires a single blast of laser energy that deals high damage.
ALT-FIRE: Toggle Scope
TERT-FIRE: Red Laser Blast
Overview[]
The Pulsegun fires a set of high powered laser beams almost instantly, dealing incredible damage over incredible range. Unlike most slot 3 weapons, the Pulsegun isn't a real shotgun; while it shoots 2 hitscan beams, there's so little scatter you might not have even noticed it shoots multiple lasers, except on long-distance shots. The Pulsegun's biggest flaw is its slow firing rate, leaving the user open in engagements with more than one enemy.
This weapon is very powerful, it can kill a Cycloid Assault Commander in 2 or 3 shots or Enforcer in just 1 shot. Since it fires green laser beams, the weapon is very effective against supernatural enemies, however it will deal less damage against body armour and none to heavy armour.
If you upgrade this gun, you will gain a scope, usable with Alt-Fire. It's a regular scope which helps greatly for the most distant enemies. The beams will never spread when using the scope. Also, like other scoped weapons, you can hold down Sprint in order to slow down time which is handy for adjusting your aim or hitting a moving target.
Upgrades[]
Scope Upgrade[]
This upgrade adds a telescopic sight to the Pulsegun, usable with Alt-Fire. Besides the magnification, the lasers are pintpoint accurate and offers the usual Sprint-slowdown function. Costs 100 polymers.
Pulsegun Red Laser[]
This upgrade allows Pulsegun to fire red armour-piercing laser beams using Green Mana. Can be bought from the blacksmith on Elysion for 1 Magic Orb.
