EDF Base Repent is a side story mission of Episode 2 of the AMC Squad. This short side mission is unlocked from City Under Siege during the shrunken segment.
Mission Summary[]
Alien bastards have captured EDF Base Repent in Argentina! Take them out and reclaim the base.
Note: This is an optional mission, and is not required for completing the episode.
Gameplay[]

The mission features several pigcops, fat commanders, turrets, and mini-battlelords. Crawl through the any of the vents on the left or right. Go right, through several hallways and a small bridge. Red keycard (and some supplies) is located in the armory room. To open the armory, head to the left and press the alien button, but this will also spawn two mini-battlelords. Then, go back a bit, proceed through the red door, take the elevator down, crawl through another vent filled with protozoid slimers, and eventually, you'll get to a room with a group of aliens and a blue keycard.

Return back to the beginning and unlock the blue door to find a yellow keycard, 2 scientists and a new weapon unlock for Zaxtor. The yellow keycard lock is directly next to the blue room and opens a large gate, with several fat commanders, pigcop tanks and a battlelord waiting for you outside. After disposing of them, open another gate and finally, you will see a submarine. Enter it from the bottom and find the exit switch on the front seat.
Secrets[]
There are 3 secrets in EDF Base Repent:
- At the start of the level, facing the door, enter the vent on the right. There is a slightly corroded wall that can be opened for some slot 9 mines.
- In the pool of water before reaching the red keycard, there's a tunnel that leads to a cave with a slot 5 weapon.
- After opening the red key card door and going down the elevator, go into the vent. There is a thin wall that can be kicked/slashed/shot for an H-item and some grenades.
Weapons & Artifacts[]
- Plasma Launcher (Weapon, Zaxtor): can be found after opening the blue door, near the scientists.
Other Items of interest[]
- Health amulet can be found in the water under the bridge.
- The room with the blue keycard contains a VR station that Geoffrey or Mikko can use. Completing the VR unlocks a door behind you for a slot 7 weapon.
- 2 scientists can be found behind the blue door.
