Saints and Sinners is a story mission in Episode 5 starring Geoffrey.

Geoffrey must head to Pittsburg, and fight his way through the Paradigm forces to find Gloria Saint, for her blood ties to Revelion.
Gameplay[]
Saints and Sinners[]
Grab some supplies, go to a small building and use the back door to enter. Talk to a civilian and he'll give you a key. Use it on the back door of another building close by. Grab a brick of C-4 and head down the smoky hole in the ground. Use the C-4 at the end of the tunnel. Dive, swim through and kick the vent. Go up to the control room and hit the red glowing button on the console to open up a nearby door back underwater. Swim through to the flooded tunnels to a more open area. Go through the door that automatically opens and use the VR to activate the nearby EDF loader. Grab the toolbox from it and use it to repair another nearby door. At the end, hit the switch to open the next section of the underwater tunnel. When you surface, head up the ladder and find a vent in the next room. Climb up the vents, break another vent and go through. Eventually you'll find yourself on the surface. Fight through the Paradigm troops. Some FEAR soldiers will accompany you.
In an alleway with an another EDF loader, there's a firewall chip in a nearby box. Head to a nearby shopping center. Inside of the shops, there's a hole in the ceiling with a rope. Climb up, go through a corridor and eventually drop down to the other store. Use the firewall chip next to the VR station. In the VR, upload a virus and find another chip inside. Use it at the white structure. Hit the switch. This will give you access to the double doors back in the alley.
Hammer Down[]
Head up the stairs, grab the key and drop down. Use it on the "Employees Only" door. Look for an elevator power switch. Be careful when you backtrack - a Lost spirit will try and ambush you. Now you can use the elevator in the lobby. Upstairs, find a burning apartment and go out through the window. Parkour your way to the building across into an office. Around the stairs you will find a vent in the ceiling to climb to the second floor. Find another nearby vent and drop down to meet Gloria. Fight you way around through the Paradigm goons till you find an "Employees Only" door. This door will lead you to a dark room where you can use C-4.
Back outside, you will be suddenly attacked by the EDF. Fight you way across and find double doors into the next building. Continue on and you will face a gunship. After defeating it, grab the key and use the VR station. When you go through a red tunnel, the switch ahead is used to lower and raise the platform leading to yet another switch. On the other side, hit the 2 switches and jump to the next area to activate another switch and teleport back to the start. The blue forcefield should be down, hit the last switch.
Secrets[]
Saints and Sinners[]
- After surfacing into the control room basement, you'll sooner or later see a Megasphere behind a container. Hit the switch on the side of the tank, backtrack to the hallway and find a vent. This will lead you to the Megasphere.
- Before exiting the first VR Station, look behind the exit to find a switch. Flip it, then jump onto the vanishing platforms into a hole. Flip the switch here, then go back to the entrance of the station. The forcefield here has been lowered now, and you can interact with the hand terminal here. This will be important for secret #3.
- In the alleyway with the EDF loader, jump over the fence to get a key. Then go into the tunnel to the right. Use the key to open the door. Go inside, and use the terminal if you got it from secret #2. Then climb a ladder to the left. You'll get a gold amulet and some slot 0 ammo. There's also a screen that you can scan to unlock a secret mission I'll check out back.
Hammer Down[]
- At the start of the map, go up the stairs through the debris to get a key. But don't use it to unlock the door. Instead, take the vent. Once outside, jump onto the balcony to the left. You can find the Coatl HMG, as well as some Flechette Shells behind a gate that requires this key.
- In the hallway with the hole in the ceiling after the ramp, go left into the Employee only door. Pick up a barrel, and place it under the hole so you can jump up to the next floor. Go to where the debris is, look into the hole in the window and shoot the switch. Then go down the hallway through the newly opened door to get Explosive Shells, slot 3 ammo, and the Rotary Grenade Launcher. You'll also find the Big Game for Rusty Nails.

Other Items of interest[]
- You can scan a screen near a dead FEAR operative in secret #3 of Saints and Sinners to unlock a secret mission I'll check out back.
- Inside the room in the #2 secret, at the other end of the room, there's a dinosaur plush on the blue file cabinets you can take as a souvenir.
Trivia[]
The red bathroom in AMC Squad and The Shining.
- There are numerous references to Stanley Kubrick's movie The Shining throughout Hammer Down. First one can be found in the hallway in the apartment building after powering up the elevator. If you check the number above the broken door leading into the room it displays "237" which is a reference to "Room 237". And also the bathtub in the apartment with the Lost apparition is a reference to the ghastly nude woman that arises from the bathtub in the movie. Finally, the men's bathroom in the office building is a blatant reference to the bathroom scene with Jack Torrance and Delbert Grady.
- Not far away from the start of Saints and Sinners the dialogue with a civillian in the warehouse starts with "Man, the man is killing us, man!", which is a reference to the Ugandan action comedy Who Killed Captain Alex? from 2010.
- Two of the characters in the beginning of Saints and Sinners are named Jones and Ellen, which is a reference to the Alien movie from 1979.
