Background[]
A fearsome undead warrior of the Naaldir's army. They wield a shield and a magical sword. While they won't use their shield to block attacks, they can send out a magical slash blast with their swords that can deal a good amount of spirit damage. They can also slice you with their swords which deals a decent amount of physical damage.
When Skull Knights fall over dead, that does not necessarily mean they are been defeated. They will get resurrected and continue to chase down their targets. In able to make sure they stay dead, you'll need silver bolts or silver bullets to kill them for good (including the weapons that fire silver bullets, like R1858 or OTs-33). They will also stay dead if you kill them with explosive weapon, weapon that can incinerate their bodies (like Meltagun or Oblivion Staff), or with a headshot. Another way to make sure they stay dead... just blow them up when they're down.
Bestiary Information[]
A large, walking skeleton incased in armour; they also possess the ability to return from the dead unless killed with either a headshot or supernatural damage...or if the remains are blown into oblivion.
MIA Description[]
We can only presume that it's just pure magic animating this thing, as it clearly does not have any kind of musculature capable of moving it.
Trivia[]
- Originally started as a newer version of an Undead Warrior from Heretic that was rejected in Alien Armageddon 3.0 in a VR level. The model was eventually recycled and reskinned when Demon Throne received a graphic overhaul.
