Tannhauser Gate is the second last mandatory story mission in Episode 5 starring Mikko and Merlijn.
Mission Summary[]
Mikko heads to the edge of the Milky Way to investigate a possible contingency method for humanity... or at least, MS Corp.
Gameplay[]
Corporate Scheming[]
After a cutscene, take out PE Snipers on the roof of the opposite building. Go into the bathroom to gear up and head outside to the corridor. Take the elevator down, kill all PE troops and head outside. Go to the ladder in the alleyway and wait for the AMC ship to pick you up.
Tannhauser Gate[]
Go down the corridors and up the elevator. After the cutscene, the Paradigm Eschaton invade.
As Merlijn, fight through the Paradigm goons to door 02 and use your strength to open it. Head to Bay 1 Hangar and hit the switch near a large door and the airlock will slowly activate. Remember to put on a space suit before going through.
As Mikko again, head back down and through the corridor. Find a VR terminal and use it. Then move on and open the door to the area next to the security guard. Go right and jump over the gate into security. Find the blue keycard and open a door with it earlier. Continue until you find a baggage claim area. Then open the "Employees Only" door. Another blue keycard is up there. Go back and use it. Talk to the familiar Paradigm agent. Continue and you will find another blue key. Use it on the air lock and grab the space suit. Trenton is waiting for you outside. Pick up the beam sabre and fight him.
The Ritual[]
Meanwhile... After a cutscene, as Kagura at the AMC base, head around and disarm five C4 bombs. You can hear them when you get close.

Take out the EDF soldiers dropping down.
Secrets[]
There are 5 secrets in this mission:
- As Merlijn, before boarding the AMC Ship, head left to find the Judgement for Mikko.
- As Mikko, in the room where you find the blue keycard, below the trash can in one of the corners, there's a vent entrance. Follow all the way through and you'll find a room with the MSC Rifle Mk2 for Mikko.
Weapons & Artifacts[]
- Judgement (Weapon, Mikko) - Before boarding the AMC Ship as Merlijn, head left and you will find it sitting on a green box.
- MSC Rifle Mk2 (Weapon, Mikko) - In the same room you get the blue keycard as Mikko, there's a vent entrance on the floor below a trash can. Following all the way through you can get into the room where the weapon case is at.
