Tenrete is a small friendly alien of unknown species that lives in an abandoned temple on Elysion. He is an offworlder and not originally from Elysion. He lives a quiet and mostly solitary life and occasionally scavenges crashed ships.
Tenrete is the first person AMC Squad encounters when their starship Snowflake crashed on the Ringworld. He allows the AMC Squad to set up camp near his home and points them to a nearby town Easthaven as well as sites of interest at Picbonear Reservoir and the Serpent Canyon.
He is voiced by Forge.

His exclamation "There ain't no justice" is likely a reference to Known Space setting by Larry Niven.
