A creature from the Abyss dimension, who's head resembles a bird like creature.
Even though their not terribly strong, but they are still considered to be dangerous. Aside from their claws that can tore apart their victims, they also have 3 other attacks. They can toss a fireball similar to that of the Bruisers fireball. They can also throw a short fire blast attack, and lastly they can lunge at their victims. One must take care when they're around. Otherwise you might just end up as dinner for the vultures.
Using the MIA Gun, or the stun scanner flash on a Vulture, will unlock the Lava Nails Upgrade research project.

An almost avian creature of the abyss; powerful, fast, and it seems to have lava running through its entire body. Much like the Bruiser, ice seems to hurt it more than usual. Watch out for its deadly lunge when fighting one.'
